Despite Dezel's vengeful persona, it is said that Rose is the vessel that prevents him from becoming a Hellion overcome by malevolence. The two of them share a close bond due to having traveled together for a long time, especially as Rose possesses the rare ability of being sensitive to seraphs such as him.

Rose makes a brief appearance in the sixth chapter of the Revanchist War. Thus, she is called upon to fight against the Revanchist when the multiverse is pulled into a state of emergency on the onset of war. Though she is not officially a member of the Coalition, she is considered an auxiliary ally by way of her relationship with Sorey, a member of the Coalition's Exorcist Branch. It is presumed that she and the others are taken from sometime before the proper events of Tales of Zestiria, replaced with events in the Convergence Series. Though not explicitly stated, it can be inferred that Rose learned of greater multiverse sometime following his meeting Sorey in the past. While she travels with Sorey and his party, Rose becomes the "Squire" of Sorey, forming a pact with him and able to use some of his power, including resonating with seraphs, to fight by his side. Along with Dezel, Rose agrees to travel with him and accompany the young Shepherd on his journey to purify malevolence and defeat the Lord of Calamity. As a human with an uncommonly high amount of "resonance," she is able to interact more than other humans with seraphs, unseen spirits of the world, and throughout her life had been guided by one such seraph named Dezel.ĭuring her travels, she meets the current Shepherd, a young man named Sorey who is destined to purify malevolence across the world. Rose is the leader of the Scattered Bones, a guild of assassins for hire who operate under the public guise of a merchant group called the Sparrowfeathers. I recommend this anime to anyone who is looking for eye candy and wants to find out what high quality animation looks like.Rose is a major character from Tales of Zestiria. Overall: 7/10 Even if the plot and characters are nothing special, the show is worth the time just for the animation and sound. Enjoyment: 7/10 The fight scenes and the backgrounds are stunning but the story itself is nothing memorable. The opening theme is highly enjoyable, the ending theme is decent. Sound: 9/10 The OST is great as well, it deepens the emotions and perfectly blends with the animation. Tales of Zestiria the X is produced by the studio Ufotable, a studio known for its high quality production. Just by looking at a few scenes you can imagine all the work that was put into the creation of this anime. One of the best animations I have ever seen. Animation: 10/10 The animation and art are splendid, truly mesmerizing. Characters: 6/10 The characters are fairly generic, they do not get much character development but they are likable. I see no point for ep 5-6, since it adds nothing to the plot. At first the plot is slow paced but as the story progresses it picks up the pace.

Plot: 5/10 The plot is not one of this series's strong points. This anime reminds me of the trilogy "Lord of the Rings". Intro: Tales of Zestiria the X:2 continues telling the story of a young man and his group of friends that are doing their best to save and clean the human world of evil.
